Capacity development for agricultural innovation systems.
The project
AKM Services set up the internal communication infrastructure for CDAIS.
CDAIS – Capacity Development for Agricultural Innovation Systems – supports the development of policies and approaches at a global level and tests these with national and local innovation partnerships. CDAIS is a partnership developed and implemented by Agrinatura and FAO, and is supported by the European Union. Its overall objective is to make agricultural innovation systems more efficient and sustainable by meeting the demands of farmers, agribusiness and consumers.
As a global organisation, having a robust system for their internal communication is extremely important for CDAIS. To meet their very specific needs, AKM Services, working closely with with the organisation's stakeholders, helped CDAIS to develop and set up a Confluence wiki system and multiple mailing lists and supported the project team in the running and content management. We are delighted to continue to host and support the infrastructure for CDAIS so that they can keep up the good work.
AKM Services are highly reliable and efficient in service delivery. Very knowledgeable in broad range of IT systems enabling them to select the tools best fitting our needs and capacities. They worked with us to select and design our project information management systems that could be operational in all corners of the world i.e. Africa, Asia, Central America and Europe.
