IPSUS

2022-2024 | Multilingual responsive CMS website | University of Greenwich

APHLIS infographic

IPSUS, a project involving multiple universities that researches climate-smart food innovations around plant-based proteins, needed a website to showcase their project and publish updates and news articles.

The project

Whether it is to communicate with the public or with the private sector, having a web presence is almost compulsory for scientific projects and organisations.

The need for project websites to look professional, have blogging capabilities, and the option to translate content into multiple languages makes developing even a small and relatively simple website a bit of an undertaking for project teams, and it is rare for them to have a big budget or an in-house team available for setting it up.

With their solid background in developing easy-to-use and fully customisable content management systems, AKM was able to respond to the brief quickly and efficiently and created a custom branded multilingual website and blog for IPSUS that can be translated, edited and maintained by the team itself. The project was finished within a very limited timeframe and within budget.

What we did

  • Logo design and branding
  • Development of multilingual responsive website with blogging capability
  • Custom developed content management system
  • Website hosting and maintenance

Future

The IPSUS team is currently working on the translations of their website and, with the translation system already in place, they can be added as soon as they are ready. There will also be regular blog posts published by the team throughout the year to share news about the exciting research the team is working on.
